10 Ways To Improve Your System Performance

    There is no doubt that Windows 8 is the new and improved Version 2.0 of windows 7.But still if you have recently upgraded to Windows 8 there is a chance you will find some performance issues along the way.

Below are the 10 ways to improve your system performance.



1. Deleting temp files from the system
    temp,%temp%,recent and prefetch are the 4  important temp files.
   Go to RUN and type each and delete all from the window.

2. Disk clean up - Weekly once
     My computer Right Click Properties Select Disk Cleanup. from the window check all boxes and enter OK.

3. Remove unwanted start up programs.
    Go to RUN and type "msconfig" select Normal Start UP. then choose start up un check unwanted boxes which you do not want to use at the time of start up.

4. Disk De-fragmentation - Configure it weekly once.

5. Full System Scan
    Install a good Anti virus and keep always updated. Schedule a full system scan every week.

6. Delete all cookies and histories from all browsers.
   Short key - Cntrl+Shift+Del
   Select all and press OK

7. Kill unwanted processes from task manager.
   Short Key - Cntrl+Shift+Esc

8. Change Power settings

9. Turn Off Search Indexing
  Turn it off by typing "services.msc" into a Run command prompt and find Windows Search entry. Choose"Disabled" as its start up type.

10. Adjust visual effects
   Choose a Simple theme and disable all animations.
